Take your practice off the mat and into the air in this “Learning to Fly” Intro to Aerial Yoga Workshop. Supported by a soft silk hammock that can hold up to 1,000 pounds, you will build strength as you swing and play - suspended in inversions just a few inches off the ground.
We’ll explore traditional yoga poses with a lightness and freedom, using the silk to deepen our practice with grace and ease. Focused on proper alignment, we’ll leave our fears behind and be rewarded a fun, exciting, new adventure!
Previous yoga experience is required, and students should check with their doctors if they have any physical limitations that could keep them from participating. Class size is limited to just 8 participants, and payment must be received 10 days in advance of class. There are no refunds available once registered.
We’ll leave a few minutes at the end of class to snap some cool photos in the silks!
This workshop (or previous aerial yoga experience) will be a required pre-requisite to attend other future regular Aerial Yoga classes or workshops with Tracy.
